Mrs. Laura Ingalls Wilder is one of my very favorite authors. Her Little House books are still some of my very favorites. Mrs. Wilder wrote about a much simpler time and her books really shine with the joy of that pioneering life. I thought I would share some of my favorite quotes from her.
The real things haven’t changed. It is still best to be honest and truthful; to make the best of what we have; to be happy with simple pleasures; and have courage when things go wrong.
There is no great loss without some small gain.
Home is the nicest word there is.
I am beginning to learn that it is the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all.
